Facilities Planning and Design is comprised of design professionals who are responsible for the planning, design and management of all capital improvement projects. The projects include new buildings, repairs and renovation of existing buildings, major campus infrastructure, interior design, open space improvements and preservation of historic properties. Facilities Planning and Design ensures that the projects adhere to the principles of adapted land use plan and campus development guidelines.

The Integrated Workplace Management Systems Administrator functions as a key member of the Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) team and as the project manager responsible for all aspects of the Space Planning and Occupancy Tracking System (SPOTS) to provide systems administration for the Archibus Software platform. Responsibilities include design, testing, development, and implementation of upgrades to the IWMS system. Provides system related desktop support for application users.

Provides technical and advisory services collaboratively to the IWMS team and the campus stakeholders including matters related to designing reports, custom solutions, data reporting and compliance.

The primary focus is to acquire in-depth understanding of business processes and information systems currently utilized and identify unaddressed business needs. Develop improved requirements and procedures necessary for the implementation of new modules, integration with existing systems, staff training, and coordinating activities between system users and supporting departments including the Information Technology Services and other impacted departments. Work includes developing requirement specifications for new projects and working with the business partners through development, testing, and final implementation.
