We specialize in relocation, downsizing, decluttering, home clean‑outs, and liquidations through online estate sales. We’re looking for dependable, compassionate, and detail‑oriented people who enjoy hands‑on work and take pride in helping others in the East Valley, Cary, Apex, Pittsboro, Raleigh, and surrounding areas in North Carolina.
Job DescriptionYou deliver excellent customer service while safely and efficiently helping clients downsize, relocate, and liquidate through online estate sales. Every day is different, and you truly make a difference in our clients’ lives every single day.
We offer flexibility and part‑time work with no required or guaranteed hours. Perfect for parents with school‑aged kids, college students, retirees, and anyone with a busy schedule.
You adapt to new situations, effectively problem‑solve, work independently with minimal supervision, and work productively in a team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities- Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items.
- Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities.
- Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal, and clean‑out.
- Use hand‑held devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
- Sort, organize, give descriptions, and handle items for resale.
- Assist buyers during on‑site pickup and sales.
- Stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, hang items at or above 4 feet, pack/unpack and label boxes, and climb stairs. Carry supplies, items, and moving boxes to/from vehicles, within a home or outbuilding.
- Note that we are not movers! We use professional movers for furniture and items over 25 pounds.
- Follow best practices, health and safety requirements, and company guidelines.
- Compassion and respect for clients and their families.
- Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency.
- Ability to complete tasks and work in fast‑paced, changing environments.
- Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments. We provide work gloves.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Punctual and attentive to detail.
- Have consistently reliable transportation and a smartphone for scheduling, time‑keeping, and executing general project duties.
- 18 years or older with a valid Driver’s License.
- Must live nearby (30‑mile radius of Apex).
- Starting pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
- Paid training.
- Company‑supplied uniform shirts.
- Bi‑weekly pay (direct deposit).
This is a project‑based, part‑time role with flexible scheduling. Hours vary based on client projects, team availability, and business needs. Flexible schedules with part‑to‑full‑time hours will be available. This is a perfect fit for individuals who would like to make extra income but don’t require a consistent work schedule. As our business provides services Monday – Friday during typical daytime business hours and weekends as needed, we do require that all team members have wide‑ranging availability within that time frame.
Scheduling is based on our client’s needs, our team members’ availability, and the skill set needed for the project(s).
