Transportation Regional Planner - Logistics Analyst
The role of the Logistics Analyst is designed to provide analytical, auditing, reporting and operational support for the Windows Transportation Organization and network. The Logistics Analyst will also provide support for the routing functions across the network to ensure we meet our customer needs and metrics.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Supply Chain knowledge and expertise to produce insightful analytical research
- Collaboration with third-party carriers, plants, and vendors to optimize the delivery operations and production schedules.
- Conduct Invoicing Audits against 3PL contractual agreements
- Perform planned vs actual audits against private fleet locations
- Support and embrace a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate, review, create, and analyze operational metrics (KPI and PVA) and provide feedback on trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
- Analyze the delivery network to identify expense reduction opportunities.
- Research on-time performance deficiencies
- Work directly with vendors and carriers in developing corrective plans of action.
- Conduct KPI calls and review metrics and strategize future growth to improve operational processes consistently.
- Collaborate with 3rd party logistics providers functioning as contractors of Cornerstone's supply chain.
- Create and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Knowledge of dedicated, private, and 3rd party fleets and carrier rates
- Strong communication and written skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on SC knowledge
- Assist in cross-training routing analysts to provide backup support for day-to-day operations for the Cornerstone Aperture group.

- In fulfilling responsibilities, the associate will work to; reduce overall miles and delivery costs, supply each transportation organization with their routing tasks daily (including 3PL providers) and meet customer delivery restrictions and work to adjust restrictions as appropriate to reduce costs.
- Coordinate cross-company transfers between operating units to maximize delivery performance while reducing costs.
- Ensure customer and routing data is maintained.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 1 to 3 years' experience in Supply Chain/Logistics
- Background in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation preferred.
- Proficiency with personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets and effective oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to negotiate movement in all the environments typical to the transportation industry (i.e. enter and egress tractors and trailers, etc). Must be flexible to accommodate a dynamic working environment.
- May be required to travel and work in a warehouse/production setting as part of oversight and administrative tasks: 25-30%
- Experience working in Transportation TMS systems.
Additional Information
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$85,000 + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
