Commercial Cleaner Position
Office Pride Commercial Cleaning is hiring two dependable commercial cleaners for a recurring daytime cleaning position in Cary, NC. Pay is $17/hr the schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday from 11am-3pm. Candidate must be flexible to cover for team member on Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays as needed. Guaranteed 16 hrs/week, but ability for more when filling in.
Job duties include sweeping or vacuuming and damp mopping hard surface floors and vacuuming carpeted floors. Dusting work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces. Cleaning restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, showers, mirrors, floors and walls. Replenishing restroom dispensers with paper products and soap. Cleaning entrance glass and other interior glass. Responding positively and promptly to customer work orders.
Working effectively with other team members. Conducting all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies. Operating and maintaining equipment such as vacuum cleaners. Removing trash from containers and replacing torn or soiled liners. Reporting building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.
Qualifications include education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility. Must have ability to work independently and as a team member. Must care about quality. Must be detail oriented and work at an efficient pace. Must be reliable. Able to lift 35 lbs. Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
Must have valid driver's license.
