- Lead strategy implementation to drive organic growth across the integrated water business.
- Lead the established team to execute project backlog and drive continued growth.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other Area Managers and all parts of the organization.
- Oversee people management activities including hiring, onboarding, staff development, performance management and terminations.
- Engage with client account teams to expand business development opportunities in coastal North Carolina and South Carolina.
- Provide leadership for the operational performance of water staff to ensure achievement of operational goals.
- Negotiate critical issues with clients and oversee projects in planning, design, and construction.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in water / wastewater / stormwater project management, design management, business operations, or related.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- P.E. License
- Strong client relationship skills with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Strong project management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes.
- Strong people management and mentoring skills.
- Excellent technical engineering skills with clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
- Master's in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related professional degree such as Master of Business Administration or Master of Public Administration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 20 years’ experience in water / wastewater / stormwater project management, design management, business operations, or related.
