Vice President of Operations

A growing, family-owned mechanical construction company with operations across the Southeastern U.S. is seeking a Vice President of Operations to join its leadership team. This is a strategic, high-impact role reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, with a clear path to oversee all North Carolina operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operations from preconstruction through project completion across NC operations
• Build, mentor, and grow high-performing teams
• Oversee financial performance, including full P&L responsibility
• Represent the company with professionalism in all client, vendor, and industry interactions
• Drive operational excellence across large mechanical projects

• Proven leadership experience in mechanical construction (plumbing and HVAC focus)
• Expertise managing large projects and operational teams
• Strong track record in P&L ownership and strategic decision-making
• Excellent communicator and relationship-builder at all levels
• Experience expanding into new markets is a plus
