Assistant General Manager Job Description & Performance Expectations
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the club to ensure members and prospects receive the highest quality of service and facilities. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position.
HOURS- Monday – Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Saturday or Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hours can be changed and are dependent on the club's pacing to sales goals and community outreach events.
RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS Sales, Revenue & Collections- Achieve target revenue goals through leadership and motivation of employees
- Daily past due account collections and calls
- Monitor flagged check-ins to increase revenue and collections
- Conduct tours and telephone inquiries for prospective members
- Train and supervise the front desk, housekeeping, and Kid's Crunch staff
- Coordinate and work with other departments, including Personal Training and Group Fitness
- Promote a professional and inviting environment that enhances the quality of service and care offered to members
- Compliance with our uniform policy - crunch polo, black pants or shorts & crunch nametag
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies
- Assist with multiple aspects of inventory management, payroll, weekly bank deposits, shift coverage, and general club maintenance
- Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security
- Other duties as assigned
