Production Specialist

Overview

Production Specialists work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphic products for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment.

• Cut printed graphics using a variety of wall cutters, saws, and Exacto blades, as well as applying the product to substrates.
• The Production Specialist may be required to work in the field performing installations to vehicles, and building interiors and exteriors using a ladder or mechanical lift system.
• Careful attention to detail utilizing work orders that outline specifics for each custom order.

• Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour.
• The Production Specialist also receives commission on jobs closed for the month where no recuts or redos have to be done.
• Additionally, if the sales quotas are met for the quarter, the entire staff receives a 10% bonus on their base salary for that quarter's wages.
• We bonus the entire staff as we are a team and it takes the entire team working together to produce closed sales.

• The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.
• This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. • Do you have skills or experience with sign production software? *
• How many years of sign production experience? *
• Do you have any construction or print industry/graphic arts industry experience? *
• Are you skilled at proofreading? *
• Are you skilled at basic math; e.g. able to accurately measure items the first time? *
• Are you able to look at a computer screen multiple times a day for a variety of length of time? *
• Are you able to stand at a waist high table for long periods of time and use back and forth hand motions to produce signage? *
• Can you stand for long periods of time? *
• Can you lift 25 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and 50 pounds occasionally throughout the week? *
• Are you afraid of heights? *
