Details and Compensation- Location:
Durham NC 27703 – 100% on-site - Payrate: $18.20/hr
- Required Availability:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
The Electromechanical Assembler will join a growing manufacturing team as an Electromechanical Assembler I. In this role, you will help build and assemble automated equipment used in healthcare environments. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in developing technical skills and building a long-term career in manufacturing and assembly.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
- Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components and subassemblies
- Integrate subassemblies into larger equipment builds
- Perform testing, inspection, and packaging activities
- Follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on equipment
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Rotate between tasks and responsibilities as needed
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) - Attendance:
Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days - 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly, automotive assembly, engine assembly, electromechanical assembly, or technical/vocational training programs
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and specifications in English
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Stable work history required
- Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Use basic hand tools and measurement devices
- Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
