You’ll play a key role in recruiting and retaining members, shaping our voice across digital and print channels, and helping deliver meaningful experiences at events across North Carolina.
You’ll report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and collaborate closely with a team that values creativity, initiative, and a good sense of humor alongside hard work.
What You’ll Do- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive engagement, recruitment, and retention.
- Create and manage multi-channel communications across email, digital, print, and social media.
- Serve as editor/manager for member publications from concept to final production.
- Lead social media strategy and create engaging graphics and short-form video content.
- Oversee public relations efforts, including media outreach, press releases, and brand reputation management.
- Help shape messaging and promotion for events, including on-site activation.
- Track engagement metrics and use data to inform strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field.
- Minimum eight years of marketing or public relations experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Someone comfortable with and skilled at public speaking.
- Self-starter who is creative and can work independently.
- Experience with project management and digital marketing tools.
- A collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for meaningful work.
- Team player who is willing to pinch hit when needed.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce, Cvent, and Pardot.
Work Location: Hybrid. Offices are in Cary, NC. Currently, in-office work is required at least one day per week. North Carolina candidates preferred.
Travel: Up to 15 percent travel, most of which will be within North Carolina.
Salary: This is an exempt position. Some nights and weekends are required. Salary range $85,000 - $95,000.
