Position: Nurse Practitioner – $70/hr | Outpatient | Flexible 3 Day Workweek

A growing urgent care organization in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a full-time permanent position across two locations — Whiteville and Williamston — with a 3-day workweek, no call responsibilities, and a self-scheduling system that publishes shifts in advance. This is a procedurally rich, independent practice role in a fully equipped outpatient urgent care setting with on-site diagnostics, structured onboarding, and established clinical protocols that support providers from day one.

The compensation package is one of the strongest in North Carolina urgent care — $55–$70/hour base, productivity incentives above base, potential sign-on and relocation assistance, student loan repayment, HSA with employer contribution, CME allowance, and malpractice fully covered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and episodic conditions at 3–4 patients per hour
  • Perform urgent care procedures — laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals
  • Order, interpret, and review in-house laboratory testing and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Experity EMR
  • Collaborate with clinic support staff for efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
Qualifications
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care NP experience preferred
  • Comfortable practicing independently as primary provider on-site during shifts
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
Schedule & Compensation
  • $55–$70/hour | ~$103,000–$131,000/year
