Medication Technician; Cna - Templeton Of Cary

Liberty Senior Living is currently seeking an experienced Medication Technician (CNA).

• Provide medication administration for residents.
• Take orders, document orders, order medications, receive medications, and administer medications.
• Perform all procedures of good nursing care such as taking vital signs, giving enemas and suppositories, etc.
• Carry out universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures to keep residents and staff safe.
• Communicate with physicians and other health‑care professionals as needed to ensure quality nursing and medication orders.
• Be alert to all needs of residents and report immediately any changes in their status to doctors, families, and administration.

• Certified Nurse’s Aide or completion of the 75‑hour CNA course plus the company Medication Administration course.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly or at least ten times per shift.
• Background checks and a drug‑free workplace are required.
