The Clinical Case Educator plays a key role in providing telephonic patient education and clinical support for patients enrolled in specialty medication therapy programs. This position focuses on patient counseling, medication adherence, symptom management, and collaboration with healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Educate and counsel patients on specialty medications and treatment plans.
  • Assess patient symptoms and provide nursing education over the phone.
  • Support medication adherence and ongoing therapy management.
  • Document patient interactions accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
  • Discuss potential side effects and educate patients on symptom management.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints according to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure timely patient care.
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Compact RN License or North Carolina RN License.
  • Associate's, Bachelor's, or Diploma in Nursing.
  • 4+ years of nursing experience, including acute care.
  • At least 1 year of Oncology nursing experience (preferred but highly desired).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills.
  • Comfortable providing patient education and clinical guidance via telephone.
  • Willing to obtain additional state licenses within 3 months (company supported).
Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid position based in Cary, NC.
  • Must live within commuting distance of Cary, NC.
  • Initial onsite training for approximately 3-4 weeks.
  • After training, required to work onsite two days per week (Wednesday plus one flexible day).
  • Opportunity for Full-Time (FTE) conversion based on performance.
  • Work with a leading specialty pharmacy and oncology care team.
  • Gain experience in telehealth and specialty medication management.
