Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit under RN supervision, delegating duties to staff, and monitoring performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms or reactions, including physical and mental conditions.
• Notify attending physicians of emergencies or patient death, and implement physician orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with proof of renewal.
• Willing to serve as charge nurse and work during emergencies to ensure coverage.
• Ability to provide quality patient care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• Annual CPR certification and participation in in-service training and staff meetings.
