Upstream C&Q Lead – US, North Carolina – Long Term Contract

Are you ready to make a real impact? Our client, a globally recognized leader in biotechnology, is hiring for the role of Upstream C&Q Lead. Known for their innovation and dedication to improving lives, they focus on tackling some of the most urgent medical challenges through cutting‑edge science.

• Serve as the commissioning and qualification (C&Q) lead for Upstream systems.
• Develop and optimize Upstream systems to meet operational and quality standards.
• Create Commissioning Test Plans that translate design intent into testable steps.
• Coordinate with the Automation Team to incorporate all automation functional testing.
• Collaborate with SMEs to ensure system requirements are accurately reflected in test plans.
• Develop Installation, Operational, and Qualification (IOQ) protocols.

• Extensive experience advising on Upstream C&Q programs for large‑scale construction projects, with experience on projects ranging from $300M to $1B.
• Background in greenfield construction, ideally with drug substance biologics or similar industries (non‑Biologics / Pharma experience will not be considered).
• Strong knowledge of Upstream equipment C&Q documentation and process design.
• Experience with development, execution, and reporting for C&Q activities for Upstream equipment.
