- Position:
Quality Assurance Supervisor – World Courier Logistics - Hours:
First shift, Monday through Friday with start time flexibility. - Location:
Onsite at the Cary, NC facility; no remote or hybrid work options.
- Oversee quality‑related activities within the Transport divisions.
- Provide guidance to office and divisional associates on quality and compliance matters.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and represent the company before local authorities.
- Review and manage incident documentation.
- Participate in investigations of non‑conformities or deviations from established quality standards.
- Provide quality input for root cause analysis, CAPA, and support corrective and preventive action initiatives.
- Assist in creating comprehensive reports and diligently monitor deviations and subsequent actions.
- Report deviations or potential problems to global QA and local leadership.
- Ensure customer complaints are dealt with effectively.
- Develop and maintain a robust QMS that defines quality objectives, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Organize and support management review meetings in accordance with applicable SOP.
- Oversee the Suppliers Evaluation Program, including local supplier approval/rejection.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality expectations through audits, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.
- Serve as the main auditor contact and communicate with relevant parties.
- Respond promptly to auditor inquiries with accurate information and documentation.
- Work with management to develop and follow up action plans for addressing non‑compliance and provide audit responses in due time.
- Assist in setting up and participating in risk management and change control processes.
- Contact clients when required to communicate changes such as expansions, depot moves, regulatory updates, or clarifications.
- Ensure pest control and cleaning programs are implemented and documented following applicable SOPs.
- Review and verify technical change controls, calibrations, maintenance, and qualification/validation programs.
- Support the review of temperature graphs as defined in applicable SOP.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all quality‑related activities such as SOPs, work instructions, test records, and audit reports.
- Execute tasks using dedicated software tools such as Master Control, SharePoint, or other applicable tools.
- Implement processes to monitor product or service quality throughout the entire lifecycle from design to delivery.
- Manage quality‑related activities related to the Self‑Inspection Report and other quality checks as defined in standard procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal policies.
- Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes and implement necessary QMS updates.
- Ensure all employees comply with Company Policies and Procedures as applicable.
- Develop training programs to educate employees on quality standards, processes, and techniques.
- Maintain initial and continuous training programs related to Good Documentation, Good Manufacturing, Good Distribution, and Good Clinical Practices (when applicable).
- Monitor training compliance and investigate and report non‑compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis and continuous evaluation of workflows.
- Participate in client meetings to monitor feedback and identify service improvement areas.
- High School Diploma/GED required; BS in Science, Quality Management, Engineering, or related field desired.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Quality, Operations, or related field in the healthcare industry.
- Minimum 2 years of coordination/supervisory experience in Quality or Operations in the healthcare industry.
- Basic PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
