Job Overview

Vishay is a leading manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Quality Inspector 1st Shift to perform sample resistance tests and visual inspections on all resistor types.

Perform dimensional and visual inspection of tooling orders and production material. Use precision measurement equipment, blueprint interpretation and inspection systems to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Prioritize inspection workload in a high‑volume environment. Evaluate product acceptability, document inspection results and communicate quality concerns to production, engineering and supervision.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing, machining, tooling, inspection or quality‑related experience preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and using precision measurement equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T concepts preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical inspection processes required.
• 2–4 years of related manufacturing or inspection experience preferred.
