Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing physical testing of soil, concrete, aggregates, and asphalt materials. The successful candidate must be able to use a calculator and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ability and willingness to obtain industry-required certifications and participate in ongoing training programs.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods when required.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach while performing testing procedures and handling materials.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and laboratory environments.

This position operates out of our Cary, NC office. This is a full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed. We offer an excellent benefits package and a positive working environment.

Starting pay will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
