As a Quality Assurance Engineer based in North Carolina within the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to identify quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

By analyzing data and conducting thorough inspections and audits, you will help prevent defects and reduce waste, contributing to operational efficiency. Ultimately, your work will support the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and familiarity with industry-specific standards.
• Proficiency in using quality tools such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Ability to travel 10%-20%.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with automated inspection systems and quality software tools (e.g., Minitab, SAP QM).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices.
• Advanced data analysis skills and familiarity with programming or scripting for quality data automation.
