As a Quality Specialist, you will work closely with the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to implement, maintain, and continuously improve Atticus’s comprehensive quality program. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and upholding strict quality standards across our manufacturing network.
Core Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end CAPA and Quality Nonconformance programs, driving all tracking, documentation, root-cause investigations, and strategic action plans.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically review Quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training modules, and associated documentation within the Atticus Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review and provide quality approvals for analytical methods, SOPs, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Support the implementation and expansion of the internal and external quality auditing program.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations, corporate standards, and internal policies.
- Collect, analyze, and leverage quality data to pinpoint trends and uncover areas for optimization.
- Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives across both internal operations and external partnerships.
- Support Operational Excellence goals by tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and management metrics.
- Collaborate on formulation and manufacturing process improvement projects.
- Manage database integrity by performing timely, meticulous comparisons between Bills of Materials (BOMs) and the File Maker Pro database.
- Support contract manufacturing (toller) partners by providing essential analytical methods, QC standards, and check samples.
- Collect, organize, and maintain key quality control data generated by tollers to monitor performance metrics and identify trends.
- Coordinate and facilitate sample shipments from tollers to guarantee timely testing, validation, and delivery.
- Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams to address ongoing quality issues and expedite specialized projects.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a technical discipline, supply chain management, business, engineering or an equivalent field of study. - Experience:
3 to 7 years of hands‑on manufacturing or quality assurance/control experience within a regulated manufacturing environment (experience in the chemical or agricultural fields is highly preferred). - Analytical
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a proven track record of handling data analysis and complex problem-solving. - Communication:
Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to network effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. - Execution & Leadership:
