All Harrah’s Team Members are expected to deliver truly great service and to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests. Team Members must work well as a team, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to company policies and gaming regulations. For Bartenders, here are specific details.
JobEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests.
- Prepare beverages as ordered.
- Build relationships with guests.
- Keep the bar area clean and stock the workstation in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Operate a cash register/POS system, ring the proper amount into the register, and give a guest or server the correct change; account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintain integrity of all financial controls.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
- Follow the guidelines of the EBCI liquor laws as defined by the Tribal ABC Commission and/or the NC ABC Commission.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner.
- Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision, and Values.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Six months of experience as a bartender at a full‑service bar (preferred).
- Completion of a documented training program (preferred).
- RASP certification (required).
- Serv Safe certification (required).
* RASP certification can be completed within 30 days of the hire date.
** Serv Safe certification can be completed within 90 days of the hire date.
Essential Knowledge and Skills- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene.
- Must be able to attend to multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver and tip a keg weighing 165 pounds.
- Must be on feet for an 8‑hour shift.
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grasp.
- Must respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must tolerate varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke.
- Must work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
