The
Dishwasher is responsible for making sure the kitchen is always clean and organized and ensuring the proper washing of all dishes and cooking utensils. This role also assists with the appropriate rotation of food deliveries. This is a SEASONAL, full-time or part-time position and reports to the Executive Chef.

• Maintain a three-compartment sink and dish machine to quickly and safely wash all dishes per the health department standards
• Ensure floors are always clean and dry
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
• Clean and maintain all kitchen, dish pit, prep area, and wash walls, floors, ceiling, racks, and shelves.
• Clean and sanitize all plates, bowls, flatware, glassware, cooking equipment, and utensils.
• Load/unload dish machine, sort, and stack all clean items.
• Follow SDS guidelines for all chemicals and test concentration levels in dish machine, three-compartment sink, and sanitation buckets.
• Remove broken dishes from circulation and update the breakage log.
• Dispose of trash and recycling
• Assist cooks and servers as necessary
• Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• State’s Food Handler’s Certification, required

• Basic computer skills
• Strong organizational, motivational, and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, occasionally in warm temperatures
• Constant exposure to hot equipment and oil throughout the workday
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, serve, etc.
