Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following each item’s product handling information using ovens and/or other equipment. Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on bakery production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage instructions. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department.

• Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily.
• Maintain GOLD-looking readiness for grand openings, with items stocked and promotional plans executed.
• Maintain visible, accurate signage; keep areas clean and organized.

• Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.
• See the connection between consistent execution and positive business impact.

• Answer questions and recommend bakery items; handle member calls and special orders.
• Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods following product handling information; use production charts for planning; prepare items for the next business day.
• Package freshly baked goods; unpack freezer items and display according to production charts.
• Decorate special orders or case items.
• Rotate and store bakery products per food safety and freshness policies.
• Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments; rotate stock accordingly.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards; check for expired items daily and follow salvage policies.
• Generate labels and price tickets; ensure accurate pricing.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, fixtures, and surfaces in the bakery area.
• Operate bakery equipment following safety procedures.
• Maintain club policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned, including cross-department work.
