Job Description SummaryThe Broker is responsible for originating and executing commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on office leasing. This role builds and maintains long‑term client relationships, identifies new business opportunities, and advises clients using market knowledge, data, and financial analysis. The Broker leads the end‑to‑end deal process—from proposals, RFPs, and client presentations through negotiation and document review—while partnering with internal and local brokerage teams to deliver high‑quality marketing, pitches, and client communications.
Responsibilities- Develop relationships and find new business opportunities.
- Nurture existing relationships to obtain repeat and referral business.
- Build and sustain long‑term client relationships.
- Stay informed on market statistics and trends.
- Consult and advise clients on their real‑estate situation.
- Prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) and market comparisons.
- Lead or assist sales pitches and presentations.
- Negotiate lease terms.
- Create and coordinate initial listing presentations and broker opinions of value.
- Compile, write, and distribute regular market updates with sales comps and market changes.
- Review and analyze lease/sale documents.
- Manage and coordinate leasing and/or investment sales processes.
- Work with local brokers to drive marketing efforts for specific listings.
- Create and edit marketing materials and presentations, including flyers, proposals, case studies, and website content.
- Produce client presentations using graphics and animation.
- Maintain local web pages for corporate and property sites.
- Plan and support client and local events.
- Manage due diligence and marketing processes for investment sales and leasing projects.
- Coordinate the escrow process with relevant professionals.
- Analyze real‑estate publications to stay current on market conditions.
- Draft lease and sale proposals and counter‑proposals.
- Prepare monthly reports for clients on deal status and marketing efforts.
- Attend local functions, community planning meetings, seminars, and specialty meetings.
- Use discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties.
- 6+ years of experience as a producing commercial real‑estate broker, preferably in office leasing.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or real estate.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office Suite, Costar, and Salesforce or another CRM.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including advanced InDesign skills.
- Strong office market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a client‑focused mindset.
- Detail oriented, self‑starter, well organized, able to set priorities and handle multiple projects independently.
- Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Financial aptitude.
- Proven record of building long‑term client relationships and providing outstanding service.
