About the RoleComputerbilities is looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to build relationships with business owners, identify technology needs, and recommend IT solutions that improve security, productivity, and business growth.
For over 30 years, we've helped businesses across North Carolina with Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions, Microsoft 365, Backup & Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Strategic IT Consulting, and Technology Planning. You'll be backed by an experienced engineering team, proven processes, marketing support, and leadership committed to your success.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business through networking, referrals, cold outreach, Linked In, email campaigns, and community involvement.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand business goals and technology challenges.
- Recommend customized IT and cybersecurity solutions.
- Prepare proposals and guide prospects through the sales process.
- Build long-term client relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.
- Manage opportunities using Hub Spot CRM.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize lead generation.
- Represent Computerbilities at networking events, chambers, and trade associations.
- Participate in ongoing coaching and professional development.
Following structured onboarding and training, you'll be expected to:
- Generate new recurring revenue.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Conduct qualified discovery meetings.
- Deliver professional solution presentations.
- Build lasting relationships within the local business community.
We're seeking someone who is:

- 2+ years of successful B2B business development experience preferred.
- Experience selling Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, SaaS, Telecommunications, Payroll, Office Equipment, Business Services, or other recurring revenue solutions is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
- Strong communication, presentation, organization, and follow‑up skills.
- Experience with Hub Spot or another CRM.
- Professional demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Base Salary: $40,000–$45,000 (based on experience)
- Unlimited Commission: 1.5X Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) for each new Managed Services agreement.
- 50% paid after successful onboarding; remaining 50% after six months of client retention.
- 1.5% of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) on qualifying renewals.
- $100 SPIF for every qualified discovery meeting.
- Additional bonuses, contests, and incentive programs.
- Expected First‑Year Earnings: $85,000–$120,000+
