The Account Manager owns the full customer relationship from start to finish — accountable for each day-to-day request through accounts receivable. This role requires a proactive self-starter who takes initiative without needing to be toldwhat’snext,operates with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where priorities can shift quickly.
The Account Manager builds trust with customers by following through consistently on commitments, closing the loop on open items, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This person serves as the primary point of contact for a book of business, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth, while working closely with the Director of National Accounts and the broader account management team.
RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum Qualifications- Education: Minimum high school graduate, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-5+ years of Account Management experience and/or Business-to-Business Customer Service experience.
Previous experience as a Coordinator or Account Managerrequired. - Driver’s License: Required
- Demonstrated track recordof managing accounts witha high levelof accuracy, ownership, and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Salesforce (or comparable CRM).
- Experience with Salesforce Field Service, the Service
Channelportal, and the Corrigo portal. - Highly organized self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as collaborate as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Own the customer relationship through day-to-day management— no task in the account lifecycle is “someone else’s job.”
- Monitor and analyze customer needs in the CRM toidentifyand act on opportunities for new business and cross-selling.
- Develop and execute account strategies and plans to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications and escalation resolution, following through until issues are fully closed.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and clients to ensuretimelydelivery of each request.
- Conduct regular account/portal reviews and provide accurate,timely updates to leadership on customer and portal ratings.
- Ensure andparticipatein quarterly/annual customer analysis review meetings, coming prepared with complete, detail-checked data.
- Maintain proactive customer touch points rather than waiting for customers to reach out first.
- Monitor accounts receivable for yourbook of business and follow up promptly on outstanding items.
- Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring a smooth, well-documented handoff.
Remote/Hybrid capabilities. An office will be made available in the main offices at 3500 Regency Parkway.
