The Laboratory Technician is responsible for general environmental monitoring testing following written procedures and the execution of written protocols with limited supervision.

• Various support tasks through the department assigned on an as-needed basis.
• Limited sample preparation, glassware cleaning, sample disposal and cleaning.
• Routine use of computer applications, primarily Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel)
• Moderate use of basic lab equipment (i.e., balances, stir plates, hotplates, baths, etc.) and instrumentation (i.e., meters, spectrophotometers, balances, etc.)

• At least an Associate's degree in microbiology or other relevant subject.
  • High school diploma with previous GMP environmental monitoring/microbiology work experience would be considered
