- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant information to school administration and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and support a professional environment through courteous interactions and consistent presence.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be able to ride a bike.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
