Agri-Waste is seeking a dependable and motivated Wastewater Field Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, performing inspections, and helping maintain critical wastewater and environmental systems.
This is a hands‑on field role that offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills while working alongside experienced professionals. Previous wastewater experience is helpful but not required for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, utility experience, construction experience, or a willingness to learn.
What you'll do- Perform field inspections of wastewater collection systems and related infrastructure
- Conduct routine monitoring and reporting activities
- Identify and document maintenance concerns, deficiencies, and potential issues
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and data collection
- Maintain accurate records and inspection documentation
- Operate company equipment, tools, and vehicles safely
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers when necessary - Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and in field environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
- Basic computer and mobile device skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Wastewater, utility, public works, environmental, construction, field service, or inspection experience
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of wastewater collection systems
- Experience using GPS, maps, or field reporting software
- Full-time stable employment
