Carrier Rental Systems provides year-round solutions for temperature control, power generation, or special event needs by renting and selling HVAC equipment during emergency breakdowns, planned outages, equipment retrofits, and plant expansions. We are seeking an experienced, customer‑focused individual to join the organization as a Rental technician to support Memphis depot.

In this role work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions with exposure to outdoor temperature variations.

• Deliver, troubleshoot, and clean HVAC rental equipment and related products, including but not limited to air‑cooled and water‑cooled systems up to 1,000 tons and hot‑water boilers up to 200 hp.
• Maintain, service, and install rental systems.
• Maintain accurate field service reports, including refrigerant tracking and time‑keeping logs.
• Use power tools, hand tools, and other mechanical equipment to service and repair rental systems as needed.
• Operate equipment vehicles, including forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
• Perform other duties to support the business as needed, including inventory count, general maintenance, cleaning, lifting, and organizing.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of commercial HVAC experience, including servicing, troubleshooting, and cleaning heating and cooling equipment.
• 1+ year experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Associate degree or HVAC technical certification.
• HVAC rentals experience.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
• EPA 608 Universal license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
