Job Description
A&P Mechanics will be performing maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on Cessna Citation and King Air aircraft primarily. This role focuses on both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and documentation to ensure aircraft remain safe, reliable, and compliant with all regulatory and maintenance requirements.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities on various models of Citation and King Air aircraft.
- Perform A checks and hourly inspections, as well as C checks and monthly inspections, including 12- and 24-month maintenance tasks.
- Carry out scheduled, unscheduled, and routine maintenance on airframes, engines, and related systems.
- Conduct 5,000-cycle airframe inspections, including non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
- Support CMP maintenance tracking, including research, compliance verification, and accurate data entry.
- Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (AD) and Service Bulletins (SB), documenting all work performed.
- Perform engine and airframe logbook research to verify maintenance history, compliance, and upcoming requirements.
- Assist with engine removal and replacement, following approved procedures and safety standards.
- Perform airframe and powerplant inspection items in accordance with regulatory and manufacturer guidelines.
- Remove and replace thrust reversers (T/R) and related components as needed.
- Execute 12-, 24-, 48-, and 72-month inspection items and ensure all findings are properly documented and addressed.
- Conduct 5,000-cycle landing gear inspections and assist with any required repairs or component replacements.
- Maintain clear, accurate maintenance records and documentation for all tasks performed.
- Collaborate closely with a small team of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality maintenance outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid FAA A&P License
- Must have own tools
- Experience performing maintenance, repair, and overhauls on Cessna Citation, King Air or similar aircraft models.

The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a stable daytime work pattern. You will work in a small facility with a family feel, alongside a team of approximately 5–7 people. The environment is collaborative and hands-on, focused on maintaining and servicing Citation and King Air aircraft using standard aviation maintenance tools, equipment, and documentation systems.
JobType & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
