Household Coordinator / Life Enrichment Coordinator – Skilled NursingAre you a strong leader who also loves creating meaningful, engaging experiences for older adults?
Glenaire is looking for a Household Coordinator / Life Enrichment Coordinator to provide leadership within our Skilled Nursing household while helping residents enjoy a vibrant, connected and purposeful daily life.
This role is a unique blend of team leadership, regulatory oversight, resident support and activity coordination. You’ll help guide household staff, support compliance and quality standards, coordinate schedules and documentation, and make sure residents have opportunities for recreation, social connection, learning, movement, fun and meaningful engagement every day.
CNA certification is preferred, but not required.
What You’ll Do Lead the Household Team- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to household staff
- Help ensure team members have the knowledge, training, resources and supplies needed to be successful
- Participate in hiring, orientation, training, coaching and evaluation of household staff
- Coordinate and maintain staffing schedules for the household
- Promote teamwork, accountability and a positive resident-centered culture
- Provide supervision and guidance related to quality-of-life and resident-support practices
- Help ensure household practices meet applicable federal and state regulations and professional standards
- Promote accurate and timely recordkeeping, charting and documentation
- Maintain appropriate files and records to support regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow-up activities
- Conduct observations and audits to help confirm staff competency and quality outcomes
- Ensure resident rights, preferences and individual choices are honored
- Assist with care plans and documentation related to psychosocial well‑being, social services and activity needs
- Coordinate and participate in resident care plan meetings as appropriate
- Plan, coordinate and lead meaningful activities, programs and special events
- Create and maintain a calendar of planned activities
- Develop opportunities for:
- Social events and gatherings
- Games and recreation
- Exercise and movement
- Arts and creative programs
- Music and entertainment
- Learning and educational programs
- Community outings
- Seasonal celebrations
- Resident-led activities
- Learn residents’ interests, preferences, routines and abilities and incorporate them into programming
- Encourage participation while respecting each resident’s individual choices
- Be available for spontaneous activities and opportunities that make daily life more enjoyable
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, teammates, volunteers and community partners
- Help welcome and orient new residents to Assisted Living
- Support residents during transitions into and out of the household
- Identify services or resources that may support residents’ overall well‑being
- Assist residents and families with appropriate social‑service needs and required documentation
- Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident needs and care goals
- Assist with transportation needs for activities and outings as needed
