Java Azure

Responsibilities

• Develop fully functional and high-quality Java – Microservices applications by clean and efficient coding.
• Support the developed applications throughout their entire lifecycle of concept, design, test, release, and support.
• Engage with users to better understand customer needs and opportunities for improvements.
• Provide technical and work guidance to a team of SDE’s, Consultants and/or offshore resources.
• Manage user expectations and requirements scope. Participate in fit/gap analysis of functional requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, developers, testing team, business users/Client and applicable outside entities (vendors and others).
• Lead and mentor junior team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in Software Development with strong hands‑on experience in performing the following:
• Build enterprise scale distributed applications with extensive SDLC knowledge and Agile methodologies
• Design and create Java applications using a variety of modern programming languages and open‑source technologies
• Experience with working on Microsoft Azure and Azure Dev Ops
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focused attention to details.
• Experience with deployment including knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and related concepts
• Experience working in a team oriented, Agile software engineering environment
• Ability to work with both technical and functional resources
• Well organized and able to work independently
• Affinity for learning new programming languages, tools, and applications
