Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join a digital asset team supporting a major initiative in the gaming industry.
This role involves building and maintaining a content marketplace that serves as a centralized platform for discovering, buying, selling, and sharing digital assets such as environments, VFX, audio, animations, characters, and plug-ins.
The platform integrates with popular creation tools like Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, and UEFN and is accessible directly within the Unreal Engine 5 Editor.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will develop and support web applications, including a new Desktop App, GenAI integrations, and backend migrations.
You will ensure functionality and high-quality user experience across the stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful APIs using Python and Django for frontend integration and service communication.
- Implement advanced search and analytics functionalities using Open Search or Elastic Search.
- Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using React and Type Script.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs for seamless data exchange.
- Begin with maintenance tasks to familiarize yourself with the codebase, then transition to new feature development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development with business objectives.
- Contribute to refining workflows and reducing dependency on frequent meetings.
- Proficiency with Django.
- Strong experience with React and Type Script.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services, including SQS, Dynamo
DB, S3, and Cloud Front. - Proficiency in Postgre
SQL. - Experience working with Open Search (or Elastic Search).
- Experience with RDS or Aurora.
- Familiarity with UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite).
- Background in 3D technology, gaming, or e-commerce.
