Assistant Vice President - DB9408703
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to identify, design, develop, and implement strategic technology solutions within the Bank. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing, testing, and deploying client, server, and multitier applications, along with associated database and related system components including Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate-Orm, and React;
analyzing and developing enterprise-level applications in Java, Collection, JDBC, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, and Web Services including REST and Soap; utilizing Apache Ignite and Hazelcast caching solutions to improve application performance, scalability, and response times; automating Java version upgrades using Jenkins Pipeline; integrating code scanning and vulnerability remediation to secure microservices using tools including Sonar Qube, Vera Code, and JFrog;
performing disaster recovery (DR) planning and drills to ensure system reliability and validate recovery strategies; performing unit testing and code reviews to maintain code integrity and performance using Junit, Mockito, and BDD cucumber tests; conducting functional and performance testing against ingestion data volume metrics; managing technical and operational risks and issues throughout technical project development and operations for the devOps lifecycle.

- Identify, design, develop, and implement strategic technology solutions within the Bank.
- Analyze and develop enterprise‑level applications in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, REST and SOAP web services; work with Collection, JDBC and related technologies.
- Utilize caching solutions (Apache Ignite, Hazelcast) to improve performance, scalability, and response times.
- Automate Java version upgrades using Jenkins Pipeline.
- Integrate code scanning and vulnerability remediation to secure microservices (tools: Sonar Qube, Vera Code, JFrog).
- Perform disaster recovery planning and DR drills to ensure system reliability and validate recovery strategies.
- Perform unit testing and code reviews to maintain code integrity and performance (Junit, Mockito, Cucumber).
- Conduct functional and performance testing against ingestion data volume metrics.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing, testing, and deploying client, server, and multitier applications, including the technologies listed above.
