Software Development Manager/ Team Lead
Location:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager/Team Lead to lead cross-functional engineering teams responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions. This role combines technical leadership, project management, people management, and hands-on development responsibilities in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of multiple software development projects.
- Partner with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define requirements, establish priorities, and ensure successful product delivery.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, resource allocation, and release planning activities.
- Provide technical leadership across application design, development, integration, deployment, and support functions.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams through coaching, performance management, regular feedback sessions, and recruiting efforts.
- Promote Agile and Scrum best practices while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Contribute directly to development efforts by spending approximately 10-15% of your time coding and maintaining familiarity with the technology stack.
- Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Seven or more years of software development experience.
- At least two years of experience leading software development teams.
- Strong knowledge of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in an Agile environment.
- Hands-on experience with Java-based applications and multi-tier architectures.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with distributed or offshore teams is preferred.
- PMP certification (or willingness to obtain certification within the first year).
- Agile, Scrum, or PMI certifications.
- Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery environments.
