What you'll do
Responsibilities- Design and build AI-powered frameworks for UI authoring, iteration, and debugging
- Manage and advance the UI technology codebase for tools and in-game UI in Unreal Engine Unique
- Establish technical direction for UI tooling and mentor engineering staff
- Work cross-functionally to identify improvements and design developer solutions
- Diagnose and fix performance and memory problems in UI systems
- Support Epic's internal teams and licensees with UI challenges Unique
- Strong tools-programming background improving development workflows
- Advanced C++ proficiency with large-codebase experience Unique
- Practical exposure to AI-powered or agentic workflows
- Preferred:
Unreal Engine, Slate and/or UMG, shipped game or real-time application experience
