QA Automation Engineer

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated QA Automation Engineer to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.

TMAPS operate in agile environment where necessity for rapid delivery co-exists with maintaining global consistency and stability of the application. We work in a close collaboration with the business stakeholders and with other development teams located in different regions and responsible for various parts of Equities SWAP technology landscape (order management and execution systems, back office, reference data, Prima Finance etc).

This role will involve organizing and conducting all required testing activities, ensuring system stability and quality, analyzing functional requirements, support UAT testing, developing and enhancing auto test framework based on Java API, JUnit and Cucumber

• Work closely with business analysts and dev leads on requirements analysis and building test cases
• Plan and implement full set of test automation activities: create, maintain, and execute automated tests.
• Develop and enhance in-house testing automation tools and test frameworks (Java2SE).
• Take initiative and lead to optimize a length of test cycle and therefore time to market for new functionality

• 9+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Confident knowledge of core Java, JUnit, Spring Framework.
• Testing, developing and enhancing auto test framework based on Java API, JUnit and Cucumber
• Knowledge of SQL
• Good testing and troubleshooting experience across software development lifecycle
• Experience in using automated testing and automated tests development
• Experience in test case and test plan development
• Plus:
  Hands‑on experience with Unix command line
• Plus:
  Understanding Equity trading workflows

Pay Range Minimum: $95000/Annual

Pay Range Maximum: $151000/Annual

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program;

401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
