Epic Games is seeking a Build Programmer to design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and build automation systems for Rocket League. You will partner with engineering, QA, production, and infrastructure teams to create reliable, scalable build infrastructure that enables developers to ship high-quality software efficiently and iterate rapidly.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with developers, QA, production, and release teams to optimize workflows and developer productivity for Rocket League
Design, maintain, and improve build automation systems and CI/CD pipelines for large-scale game projects
Monitor build health, troubleshoot failures, and perform root-cause analysis to improve pipeline stability and reliability
Own and support various tools and processes managed by the Rocket League Build Programming Team
Support software releases by ensuring build systems remain reliable and responsive during critical milestones

What You Need

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern build automation systems
Strong understanding of software build systems, dependency management, and release engineering best practices
Proficiency with languages such as C#, Python, Power Shell, or Bash to automate development workflows
Experience with version control systems such as Perforce or Git
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and administering Windows-based build environments
