This position performs scorekeeping duties for baseball, softball, flag football, basketball, co‑ed softball, 50+ basketball and softball. Applicant must be able to work nights and weekends, must be able to multi‑task keeping score book and clock, performs other related duties as required.
- Ability to keep up with fast paced activities/sports games
- Ability to comprehend rules of the sports
- Ability to keep the scorebook accurate
- Ability to keep the score clock correct
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaches, associates, and the general public
- Previous involvement in sports preferred but not required
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must be available to work nights and weekends
This is medium work requiring the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; work requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word;
hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for use of measuring devices, operation of machines or equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; must be able to stand for long periods of time; the worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. The worker may be exposed to blood borne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective equipment.
