Job Summary
Lead, motivate, train and support warehouse operations with a focus on efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution while ensuring safety and protection of inventory.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise general warehouse operations and staff.
- Schedule inbound and outbound arrivals and maintain dock presence.
- Apply and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Train and coach personnel, conduct performance evaluations.
- Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of facility.
- Unload, load, de‑lux, and perform minor furniture repairs as needed.
- Perform other duties as required to meet objectives and goals.
Manage inventory valued over $2.5M and use production tools to measure employee productivity.
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma or GED with 4–6years of relevant experience or 1–3years of supervisory/leadership experience.
- Knowledge of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping, delivery, and inventory procedures.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Up to 5% travel.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
- Experience in furniture repair and home delivery.
Supervise 3 to 10 reports.
Physical Demands / Work EnvironmentNearly continuous standing, balancing, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, lifting up to 50lb, repetitive hand motions, walking, bending, stooping, listening, talking, climbing stairs and ladders, crawling, and operating industry equipment.
