Z-Dock Supervisor

Job Summary

Lead, motivate, train and support warehouse operations with a focus on efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution while ensuring safety and protection of inventory.

• Supervise general warehouse operations and staff.
• Schedule inbound and outbound arrivals and maintain dock presence.
• Apply and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Train and coach personnel, conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of facility.
• Unload, load, de‑lux, and perform minor furniture repairs as needed.
• Perform other duties as required to meet objectives and goals.

Manage inventory valued over $2.5M and use production tools to measure employee productivity.

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–6years of relevant experience or 1–3years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping, delivery, and inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Up to 5% travel.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
• Experience in furniture repair and home delivery.

Supervise 3 to 10 reports.

Nearly continuous standing, balancing, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, lifting up to 50lb, repetitive hand motions, walking, bending, stooping, listening, talking, climbing stairs and ladders, crawling, and operating industry equipment.
