Data Examiner

Overview

Position Status: Contract (12 months with potential extension)

Pay Rate: $16 on W2

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Examiner to support a high-volume documentation and eligibility processing environment for a state agency in Phoenix, AZ. The Data Examiner will review and prepare eligibility documents, process applications, and ensure accurate document management within systems such as OnBase and HEAPlus.

• Barcoding, scanning, indexing, and uploading documents; validating the accuracy of eligibility records; researching and sorting returned mail; preparing notices and emails; and routing information to the appropriate staff.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Adaptability to new technologies and evolving processes
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to compile data and produce accurate reports

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
• Knowledge of office practices, administrative procedures, and document workflows
• Experience using terminal or case-management systems to input and review data
• Prior experience in government programs, eligibility processing, or document management (a plus)
