Compliance Specialist

The job of Compliance Specialist is done for the purpose of providing support to the administration of the school district's Medicaid in the Public Schools Program and the Arizona Department of Education Program for compliance monitoring. This job reports to the Director of Learning Support.

Duties include:

• Assists Director with monitoring billing accounts and completing on-site daily activities
• Conducts in-service trainings, attends staff meetings, workshops, etc., as requested
• Maintains extensive student and employee record files
• Orients personnel regarding various procedures and program requirements
• Prepares a variety of documents (e.g. invoices, financial reports, training materials for program activities, etc.)
• Processes a variety of documents (e.g. outgoing mail, flyers and information packets, etc.)
• Works collaboratively with the Transportation Department
• Assists other personnel, as may be required.

Experience:

Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Requirements:
Pre-employment clerical testing, Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability, Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
