Job Title
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs daily processing of orders through E1 and FUSE software programs, and downloads into the Clear Path program for production scheduling. Ensure all orders entered or received into the system are verified against the original source to ensure accuracy. Communicate with customers as needed to provide information about products, take, or enter orders, or obtain details of their concerns. Maintain an ongoing harmonious working relationship with all customers both internally and externally.
Respond in a timely manner to all inquiries from the Production floor. Prepare and distribute accurate daily Production Reports as scheduled. Replenish office supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure adequate supplies are on hand. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations, and all safety policies. Maintain professional appearance and conduct with a respectful and courteous demeanor.
Answer main telephone line, routing calls as required. Greet and direct visitors to the front office, assist with sign-in procedures. Communicate availability and completion of assigned duties to manager. Participate in and support plant activities as may occur. Other duties may be assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Adequate working knowledge of Microsoft 365 i.e., Outlook, Excel, and Word. Accurate data entry is a must. Must possess a professional demeanor in both telephonic and electronic communication. Ability to interact with management and other departments in a respectful and productive manner. Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail. Good working knowledge of manufacturing workflow. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding Cardinal's business and its employees, providing information only to those with a need to know. The job requires reliability, responsibility, dependability, and being able to fulfill assigned job requirements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent, combined with sufficient prior work experience to gain necessary computer skills. Prior Customer Service experience strongly preferred. Experience with multi-line phone systems, effective communication, professionalism, multitasking and organizational ability, and intermediate computer skills. Prior experience in a busy multi-tasking office environment very helpful. Two prior years office administrative experience desired.
