We need professional lube techs to perform vehicle inspections, oil changes, tire rotation, tire replacement and tire repair. We also need apprentice lube techs who would like to start their career in the lube department. Apprentice technicians will usually attend technical school while working part time or work full time while completing factory training through the dealership. The goal is to become a master certified automotive technician.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to use an automotive hoist safely and lift vehicles without causing damage or personal injury.
  • Perform a vehicle check-up or multi‑point inspection and report findings to the service advisor.
  • Correctly change engine oil and oil filter.
  • Correctly replace engine air filter and cabin air filter as needed.
  • Ability to lift large tires to complete tire rotation on cars and light to medium duty trucks.
  • Mount and balance tires on cars and light to medium duty trucks.
  • Communicate clearly to team members during the vehicle check‑up process.
  • Check tire pressure and set to specification.
  • Repair or replace worn parts as needed.
  • Use power tools and common hand tools to perform various tasks.
  • Use a grease gun to lube grease fittings.
  • Replace diesel and gasoline fuel filters.
  • Properly test batteries in gas and diesel powered vehicles.
  • KEEP THE SHOP CLEAN AND SAFE!!!
Qualifications
  • An understanding of automobiles and basic mechanical skills.
  • Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • ASE Certification/Technical degree is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
