Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher delivering individualized instruction to students with special needs in a 36-week contract in Casa Grande, AZ. This role supports inclusive education and student success while providing competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to foster inclusive learning environments
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
- Provide support and advocacy for students, families, and the school community
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent credential
- Arizona State Teaching Certification for Special Education or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a school setting
- Familiarity with Legacy requirements and special education programs
- Strong communication skills
- Classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs
- Background check clearance
- Flexibility in schedule
- Passion for student success
