Summary

The Generation Team has an immediate opening for an E&I Journeyman at our Sundance Power Plant. The E&I Journeyman will support the safe, efficient and cost-effective production of electrical energy by performing Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance work. Writes and reviews work scope and hazard/risk assessment of work assignments. May perform other duties as assigned.

The work schedule for this position is a 12-hour rotating shift as defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement; LOMA dated December 8, 2015.

  • Be at least 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Successfully complete E&I Apprenticeship or demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge
    .
  • Must qualify as Electrical and Instrumentation Journeyman or equivalent
Additional Requirements
  • Must live within Reasonable Distance (one (1) hour) from Headquarters
  • Must successfully pass the mechanical aptitude test (MASS)
  • Pass APS aptitude and qualifying skill tests (written/hands‑on)
  • Reasonable and necessary overtime will be required.
  • Shift work may be required.
  • Interview may be conducted.
  • This position requires working with aerial equipment, which has weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less.
