Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer Duration:
Long Term Contract Role Summary
Lead the design, development, commissioning, and launch of automated manufacturing test systems to support high-volume production. Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver robust, scalable test solutions aligned with Lucid’s automation strategy.
Top 3 Mandatory Hard Skills- 2+ years of experience developing automated test equipment for manufacturing
- 2+ years of experience launching automated test systems on high-volume production lines
- Experience testing electric vehicle powertrain components (preferred / plus)
- BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing test engineering
- Strong knowledge of electrical & electronic circuits, cables, and connectors
- Experience designing electrical schematics (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with National Instruments platforms (PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
- Proficiency in test software development, using one or more of:
- NI LabVIEW
- NI Test Stand / Veri Stand
- Python
- MATLAB
- Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet)
- Ability to commission, validate, and troubleshoot test systems using standard electrical test equipment
- Experience reviewing test specifications, test sequences, cycle times, and failure modes
- Strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills
