Manufacturing Engineer III – Battery, Drive Unit & Power Electronics

Duration:
Long Term Contract

The Manufacturing Engineer III supports battery, drive unit, and power electronics manufacturing operations by applying engineering principles to optimize production processes, layouts, and efficiency. This role focuses on improving manufacturing performance, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production planning through data analysis and engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze time, motion, methods, and production rates to improve manufacturing efficiency and establish standard work.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and formulas to support production and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to define reliability and quality standards.
  • Review production records, worker logs, and processing documentation to ensure compliance with quality assurance specifications.
  • Support production planning by aligning work assignments with labor performance, equipment capacity, and production schedules.
  • Develop charts, graphs, diagrams, and layouts to illustrate workflows, routing, material handling, floor layouts, and machine utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing standard engineering calculations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Experience using engineering-related software tools, including CAD applications.

Education & Experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
