Hot Foot Recruiters is hiring a Facility Manager to oversee facilities engineering and EHS operations at a high-purity chemical manufacturing facility supporting the semiconductor industry. This is a senior-level, site-based role responsible for facility reliability, safety performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement at a growing operation in Casa Grande, AZ.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of facility engineering (maintenance, I&E, utilities, equipment) and EHS teams.
  • Drive facility performance in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental and safety regulations.
  • Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operation of facility systems, infrastructure, and utilities.
  • Champion a strong safety-first culture, leading incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Partner with corporate engineering and technical teams on facility upgrades, expansions, and capital improvement projects.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination to support production, quality, and operational KPIs.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10-15 direct reports, setting clear expectations and fostering engagement.
  • Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost control.
  • Support and maintain ISO-based management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
  • Oversee contractor management, maintenance planning, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and customer or regulatory reviews.
Qualifications
  • 12-15+ years of experience in chemical, process, or high-purity manufacturing environments.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in facility management, engineering leadership, or site operations leadership.
  • Strong background in EHS compliance, Process Safety Management (PSM), and environmental regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Demonstrated success leading facility engineering and EHS teams.
  • Experience driving operational reliability, safety performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ISO management systems and audit readiness.
  • ERP system experience (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
